Coming to visit Disneyworld from UK in August and I'm really worried I won't be able to use new service until in the USA?

What about international guests who arrive the day before our park visit? Is there going to be any slots left for us? We can’t purchase Lightening unless we are on American soil??

What about virtual queues for the s tier rides? Are we forced to pay to ride now??

Wow this is going to make Hollywood Studios even worse than it is now. Lightenong lanes for Tower of terror and toy story mania will be gone by park open every day because they're in tier 2.

So if we are going to be in the parks on the 24th, staying at a Disney resort, can we start booking on the 17th? Or is the new system not available at all for booking until the 24th? So confused 😐

First of all, thank you very much for the video and I really admire your positivity! I’ve been going to Disney World since I was about eight years old and I’m now in my 50s. I find it extremely frustrating all the changes that they have done over the years, which to be honest feels most the time like a cash grab. Several times over the last few years, I was actually thinking about stopping my trip altogether from frustration. As an annual pass holder, I find it frustrating that we have to book our park passes. Since single ticket holders, don’t have to it can’t be because of crowd control. It’s just a frustrating addition that really discourages one from buying an annual pass because they really aren’t any other perks. I did like the fast pass system when it first came out that allowed you to book I think at the time it was about 60 days ahead and you could just plan all your vacations and not everybody had to go and do the same ride at the same time and you could have everything set up before you got there. And most importantly it was free! Which is a huge deal when people are spending hundreds of dollars on a day ticket to a park and now with these additions by places like Disney and Universal you’re adding tons of money to your day just to be able to get anything useful out of it. In the absence of any other option, I did try Genie+ and I hated it. Besides the price, which was ridiculous at a sliding rate of anywhere from $25-$35 US which is significantly higher and Canadian dollars, my biggest pet peeve was that you could not book any other rides until you had cleared the first one. And if say your biggest ride was a roller coaster and you couldn’t get a booking until 4 PM then you couldn’t book anything else until then or you could cancel it lose your slot and possibly get something else but possibly not. It’s bad enough that it became difficult to get dining reservations over the years and you’d have to pre-plan all your meals 60 days ahead, then you had to plan your parks and now you have to preplan all your time in the park. I think it’s really sad that they’ve taken all the spontaneity out of going to the parks because of what is essentially efforts to get more money. I don’t think any of this is what Walt Disney had in mind. With my rent finished I would just like to say thank you for your post. It was very helpful and I really appreciate the tips.

You didn't mention virtual ques for the single LL rides. Did that option go away as well?

One thing is for certain, that if anyone (my family included) was able to make Genie plus work for them - it was often because of your videos and guidance...so thank you!!! As a family who loves parks at night, i am happy to be able to select times with the new system... however I worry that the cost won't be worth it without the ability to stack... I am looking forward to your ideas!!

I’m curious about the 2 hr rule, once you use your first LL. Also, the ability to have overlapping plans, since you couldn’t with Fastpass Plus. If those two things stay like they were with Genie plus, then all this will do is make Slinky and Remys impossible to hey

Lol 😂 so glad that I went to Disney World last week! Now I will wait another couple of years and watch Ear Scouts and Molly work out the kinks in the new system. My last trip I had everything Genie/ lightning lanes mastered down to a T because of you guys. Got on every ride that I wanted to, also mastered After Hours and the DP. It was glorious! (mission accomplished) 😊🎉

My issue with the new system is that Canadians and other international guests cannot pre-book the 7 days in advance if they’re a resort stay or 3 days if staying off property. It’s been widely reported on social media that Disney is requiring anybody pre-booking has to be located in the US. Since most out of cut ru guests don’t fly in until the day before their park visit this means there will be nothing left for us to book and will potentially ruin a very expensive Disney World vacation. Genie+ was a better system. I hope Disney fixes this because as a Canadian I’ll get screwed if and when I book another trip.

Lots of messages in the UK about not being able to book until we arrive in the US. Any info on that.

I guess once we get our Annual Passes we won't get Multi-Pass, as it seems like Disney is making it much harder for Annual Pass holders to go to the parks on a whim.

Do you think non resort guests with tickets for multiple days will be able to book their entire trip 3 days prior to the 1st visit day? Or will they have to book each day individually?

Tower of Terror as the only 2-tier thrill ride. I wonder why 🤔

I’m okay with the tiers. Seems like a good way to ensure availability potential for those not staying on property. I don’t care about AP complainers who can attend any time of the year, yet whine at the unfairness of competing with families making this their “one” trip.. annoying. I would be curious to hear more about the entire party simultaneous scheduling issue. Not everyone in a larger party is going to want to take the same LLMs. Wondering if party size will still limit availability.. This seems short sighted based on initial explanation. Hopefully they will work the kinks out.

I have a question. Lol. More like a million, but.... I have a trip planned for 7/27 to 8/2. We are staying on property. Our first reservation day is 7/29. Do i still have to wait until 7/24 to purchase? Or can I purchase 7 days in advance 7/20 or 7/22? Im so confused. 😂

Do you know, from your research, if deluxe resort guests will be able to book a second ride during extended evening hours?

***BEWARE CANADIAN TRAVELERS!!!!What is also important to mention here is that Canadian won’t be able to reserved 7 days in advanced even if we stay at a Disney resort because of the ecommerce rules. Every Canadian that plan to visit Disney with this new system will be automatically in a very unfair disadvantage only able to book our multipass once we are in the US….. We are already considering to postpone our trip to an other time because of that.
